We closed on the land in February bought a tractor in March and have been clearing brush where the house will eventually be located.

Montgomery N.Y. many years ago (back in the late '50's) had an old concrete airstrip we used to drag race on. Think they called it Montgomery Race Track if my memory is correct. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Bob

150 acres mostly woods lots of heavy brush and smaller trees in front,we've been finding apple trees mixed in too. MX 5800 Kubota ,loader ,brush hog ,box blade and York rake so far. Looking to get a 3 bottom and some discs soon. Hopefully a pole barn in the near future. House is going to be modular construction . Thanks for the kind welcome.

my mom grew up on a farm down outside suffern ny,and I am going back to that life. My wife's grandfather was a butcher in the city and moved up to bridgeville,ny,he had 50 acres going up from the navesink river over the mountain behind to rock hill. Beautiful place but the state got that so I have been saving and waiting
