The next video in line has moving pictures and no words.
It's called a self deploying ROPS system.
Think of it as an airbag system, that deploys a ROPS.
The government is supposedly considering requiring them on new tractors, due to the number of accidents, where the operator has left the ROPS down.
They will be more costly, and may require periodic re-certification, or replacement.

Any post that reminds you to think safety even for a minute is a good post. Thanks. I think that's a great idea but don't need the safety idiots involved in trying to get it mandatory. If you want it fine, if not fine.

Good way to get a ROPS, unlike folding ones, that we'll actually use.

You'd have to be sure you weren't, say, pushing against the steering wheel as your tractor was headed downhill and started to tip. Being knocked out by an air ROPS would hurt too!
