That reminds me of well, me one time.

We have a little 4x6 cargo trailer back in 09 when my wife thought she wanted a car, and wanted to take musical gear with her to shows, etc, so we found something class 1 safe

Anyway, fast forward to last year. Wife's at church and someone donated a bunch of boxed stuff to the school my wife works at, so she calls me to bring the cargo trailer. My f350 dually was under the loaded hay trailer, so I hitched the cargo trailer to my f450 dually and took it to church. Thing was so tiny I couldn't even see it in my mirrors unless I fully extended them...

My Ford rollback has hauled everything I have ever asked it to haul including a forklift that was around 12,000 pounds. Being fair the Chevy 3500 has also hauled everything I have put on it. 3-5 tons are pretty common for it. I'd like to have a heavier truck. If I found a cab cheap I'd consider converting my bus to a flatbed. Although either one of those truck would beat the bus to the top of the mountain the bus has far heavier suspension and brakes.

I don't have any kids. I just bought the bus for fun. It has an International DT360 diesel and an Allison transmission. It has 143,000 miles and I paid $2100. If I found a cab cheap it would make a heck of a flat bed truck. Especially considering I'd have around $3500 in it. You couldn't touch a diesel ton truck with similar milage for that price. It does haul wood pretty good.

I'd rather have a real short bus. They are on a F-450 diesel frame and have a truck cab.
