Considering the core demographic of the TBN community...I can't seem to fathom the fact (like in the mass media) that some very talented artist (with a limited fan base) has gotten more bandwidth on TBN than a poetic/musical genius like Merle Haggard has...! go figure...

Sure, the dude had issues. Pretty much everyone in the music industry has issues of some sort at one time or another, be it drugs, tempers, relationships, etc... The fact that he had issues shouldn't diminish from the fact he was a musical genius and even more importantly, a great philanthropist.
