Anybody have any loader hose protector fabrication to share. I hate seeing those hoses and fittings so exposed. My father in law knocked one off one day and I've been determined to make some protector ever since. Any ideas uploadfromtaptalk1456888524422.jpg

There appears to be a steel bracket above the hoses. It shouldn't be hard to build a box around them.

Discarded fire hose from fire station.

At that location on my Kubota there is a skid plate under all the hoses/connections with an upturned portion on the front that extends up about 6-8 inches. Its probably there to do exactly what you are talking about.

Nice looking skid plate. Are you able to mount and remove the backhoe with this plate installed?
I am very interested, could you possibly take some more pics showing how you attached this plate.

Among the many things I fabbed up for my Kioti NX series was a loader hose loom and guard.

I have used short (3 to 4 inch long) sections of old radiator hose in the past. I slit it along its length, slip it over the hose where it may see rubbing or wear then zip tie it tight to the hydraulic hose to keep it in place. Not real pretty - but very functional.....

I like the idea of a protector over the hose, but my main concern is protecting the couplers. A stick knocked one of the couplers once and disconnected it and it has dripped a little ever since. I've disconnected and tried to clean the connections out a few times with no success, so when I finally get that leak fixed one day I'd rather keep it from happening again.

I'll replace a busted hose any day, but a bent manifold and coupler would be a pain I the butt, not to mention very expensive

Don't those couplers have one or two O-rings inside?
Maybe one or both of those O-rings were damaged and warrant being replaced to stop the leakage?
