Good evening all. 48F this morning, overcast breezy by 7 am. Overcast cleared off but breeze stayed rest of the day, topped out at 61F. Outside sunrise service this morning, choir sang, no ride just napped, and picked up stepdaughter at airport.

Got the two large blueberry bushes on the east side of the house transplanted today. Only thing left to remove is a large Japanese yew.

Also cleaned up the leaves and debris around the hydrangea in front of the garage and did the final fill in and seeded the drain line trench on the northwest corner of the garage.

Worked some on cleaning metal for the grapple as well.

Beautiful day, got up to the mid-70's, rain starts in a couple of hours.

51 light rain falling high of 66 later today with increasing sunshine high of 66 later. Very windy breezes blow up to 27mph by the afternoon. Nice shot of gentle rain and we needed it more on way later in the week

Good morning Everyone, Hope you had a great Easter. Took the day off and just took it easy. Spent more time just thinking about the important things. Easter, family, life and how unimportant many things really are. I tend to think about the unimportant things to much.

50 here this morning and we have had .34" of rain today. 50% chance this morning and a high of 62. Wends could gust as high as 30 today. Lot of running to do today. I have to take more info to the bank and stop in at the JD dealer. Looking for a lawn tractor for the new place, just can't see having a sub compact for 1/3 ac lot though I will surely miss it. Then when I get home my wife has to go get her new glasses and do some shopping. Glad I have a wife that is level headed about $$$$$. I guess I will have to go shopping before long. My wife and I went out to eat a while back and I wore a shirt that was 25 or 30 years old. It still looks nice but the closet is getting thin. Shopping is not my favorite thing.

RNG Have a safe trip and hope you can keep everything dry. Like your last statement.

rswyan That is some good looking fab work. Is that TIG.

Have a great day. Ed

Good Morning! 38F @ 6:30AM. Cloudy. High 47F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph.

Awoke again about 3 AM and couldn't get back to sleep, finally gave up and started the day. Was taking the bathroom trash downstairs and for some reason looked into the bedroom I'd been using one last time. On a whim I took a peek under one of the beds and found two rifle cases, one of them containing an Anschutz .22. We'd just inventoried the old man's collection the evening before and since this one didn't show up on his sheets it left both the neighbor and I wondering. Now here it is. I already have several nice .22s and really don't need another, so here I sit waiting on a call back from the neighbor to see if I can trade this one for a nice little Ruger 1B. The box of chocolates continues to surprise.

Checking the weather, I80 through Nevada is getting hammered, and that storm will be working its way east. Hopefully it'll be through the Rockies by the time I arrive and the highway crews will have cleaned up the mess. But even the worst forecasts are only calling for 1-3 inches of the white stuff, so slow and easy should work just fine. On the way out it was about that and I didn't even need 4WD.

The truck is packed to the gills with everything just fitting in. I think it's another case of the load expanding to fit the space available to haul it. The kitchen dinette table disassembled down to almost nothing, but the four rocker/roller chairs take up a quarter of the space. Bet the thing rides like a Cadillac with all that weight in it...

slow and easy Roy, keep that ticker happy.

57 degrees warming up to mid seventies today, rain has now moved out, looks like we got about half an inch or a little more.
That means one day today without overwhelming pollen.

I might do some light weedeating today; need to make sure everything starts and runs ok for the "season" which considering the number of weeds growing up around my barn has for sure already started. Here we go again...
And hopefully not a Wingsprd moment of starting challenges. We'll see if the Stabil and Sea Foam worked over the winter...

RNG, safe trip.

43 this morning and headed to 60 today. .75 inches of rain overnight. Had a couple of tornado warnings just SW of here NWS reported damage also. The warning for us was the first Severe Thunderstorm warning for the storm after the rotation let up. We had already left the DW headed to mom and dads to get out of the storm.

Today's cow working day. Headed out to get them locked up and ready to go. Just a quick tail stick and blood draw for a pregnancy test.

Good morning! 42˚ windless clear skies. Time to rotate the tires and mow the inner yard and boxblade the road.

51 and foggy going to 71. While I was outside it went from raining to some blue openings in the clouds to solid fog now. Got nearly an inch last night.

Still burning the woodstove since it's been cool and damp since Saturday, and should get cold the next two nights, maybe freezing Tuesday night.

Drew, cut some more firewood Saturday, and my splitter started on the 2nd pull! Seems to do okay when it's warm outside. Hope your equip starts just fine. Then it's time for you to make plans to hit the road with that new rv trailer. :)

May take Coco to the vet today...she seems to have gotten hurt on a long Frisbee throw Saturday...maybe stepped in a dip in the field, or pulled a muscle in her shoulder or hopefully not broken anything...she squeals sometimes when turning sharply and had very subdued interest in more retrieving, running at half speed, so I stopped. Couldn't find any issues feeling her all over including her pads and between the toes, and she shows no signs of hurting when being inspected. Seemed to be better but still sensitive yesterday, and even better today, actually did two short "test" Frisbee throws and she ran harder this morning, almost full speed, and enough to catch them in the air. Keeping an eye on her, and will decide later this morning. Any ideas?

Now the sun has come out while typing this.

Buppies, I guess I'm online too late to remind you about the grass seed name.

RNG, have a safe trip.

RS, beautiful welding job. Welding is on my future list of things to learn.

I taught myself on old stick welder, the actual act of welding isn't that hard to learn, but the nuances can be challenging, as they say, the devil is in the details! Heat range, wire speed, rod size and compound, then there's gas welding and brazing and soldering and...:D

Drinking first cup of coffee. 65° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 82° with sunny skies and a good wind later in the day. Taking wife to a doctor apportionment in Phoenix will be a all day trip.
Good Morning All.

Good Morning. 0915. overcast, 62F with 99% humidity. Forecast high of 80F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 52 tonight.

I transplanted a row of Armenian cucumbers into the garden yesterday morning in a light but steady rain. Should be well watered. Sun came out just as it was going down yesterday. Margie and I got out in the yard to take pictures. Total rain for the last few days was right around 6 inches.

You guys have a good one,

Larro

45F, overcast and windy ... which is a far cry from yesterday's sunny and a high of 76F.

Front came through early this morning around 02:00 ... lots of lighting and thunder and it poured buckets ... got .82" total. Still over an inch short for the year.

Saves me from having to water that grass seed ... at least for awhile ... assuming it wasn't all washed away.

While the wife and I were working on getting the blueberry bushes replanted last evening, I noticed a couple come walking down our road/driveway and cut across the field into the woods. It wasn't our previous house guests but they appeared to be relatively young ... 20's/30's ... with the girl appearing (from 400') to be somewhat younger than the man. To do this, they had to walk right past a "Private Drive No Treaspassing" sign planted within 10' of the driveway ... WTH ? :confused2:

Since it was Easter I just let it go ...
