So, I am at my first service and called dealership for filters and stuff.

With this being a new model this year they can't find the part numbers to get me the filters......aaaahhhhh, OK.

Maybe I am just looking at this a bit differently than I should, but.....If you sell a tractor to someone and at the time of purchase the customer asked you questions about the filters and the first service shouldn't the filters be available or at least had the time to look that information up already. This was 4 weeks ago, maybe I'm just looking at this as customer, but I was a little surprised that they didn't have the information.

On a different note, who has experience replacing hydraulic lines? I need to replace the one on the top of my BH on the left side (if you are sitting in the seat). Where is a good place to source them? Dealer is having a hard time finding the part, so I'm going to see what I can find on my own and then compare price once I hear back from them.

Until I get the hose and the filters tractor is down for "Maintenance".....:(

The 2610 is a 15 model. Shouldn't any problems with parts. Sounds like the dealer may be the problem

As far as a hydraulic hose, we have several local places that make hydraulic hose.
I just take the old hose with me, they make a new one to match within minutes, reinstall.
If your hose is a warranty item you may need to go through the dealer.

Doesn't sound like I'd want to do that with his dealer

All is good.

CK2610 to the best of my knowledge is a 2016 model, heck it wasn't even put on their website till a week ago. Plus there aren't any other websites that list parts for it, so if it is a 2015 model there are a lot of websites and dealerships slipping on information and part listings then.

This was just an experience I wasn't expecting. From what I have seen, it's not just the dealer that is lacking on information on this model. It's new, granted Kioti could of had more information before listing the tractor and selling it. But, I'm not going to hold that against them. I like it so far and am happy with it so far.

As far as warranty, I broke it. It got snagged on a stump root and got a small tear in it, leaks slowly. Plus I would have to pay $75 for them to pick it up and bring it back, they are 45 miles from me. $37.50 each way and I don't have to haul it or rent a trailer sounds fair to me. The hose is $30, so I'll just put it on myself and be good to go.

Regardless of how new this is I would have expected the dealer to have been on the phone to his rep to get any and all information you requested and have an answer by at least the next day.
Your dealer should also be able to make the hose if you don't want to wait on factory one.

OK, warranty probably wouldn't apply anyway.
Much faster and easier to just get the hose made up local.

If the hose is common size with NTP fittings, a local Tractor Supply may have one in stock. Otherwise, find a local place that makes hydro hoses and show them the broken one, as previously mentioned.

She called back and was having an issue getting a hold of Kioti, I guess this week is their in-house training. Which makes sense to me, I have been on that side of the house before and training can be a pain to operate and do training. The owner of the dealership is actually at the training event.

All is good, I will look at Tractor Supply and see what I can find. If not, I will give the tractor and my BODY a break till next week when I get around to doing the maintenance and have the hose from the dealership. Really not a big deal, was just surprised at first. I really just made the post a vent or rant off the cuff.

Now if I have a warranty issue and this happens again, now I will be more annoyed and close to pissed.

Are there no hydraulic shops in the area to make you up a hose? (our local Napa even makes hydraulic hose)
As far as the 50 hour service, running a little bit over the 50 on hours isn't going to hurt anything till your filters come in IMO.
If you need the tractor, use it.

You can order a custom made to order hose from discounthydraulichose.com and have it within 2-3 days in the eastern US with regular ground shipping. Prices are very fair.

Holy crap, i didn't know this was possible. I wish i knew more about the hoses and fittings, so i'd have the knowledge to order confidently...

Another good source is Surplus Center: Surplus Center

The many connector types and sizes is confusing but you can get some help on their Tech Help page, where you'll find links to the four main types of fittings: NTP, SAE O-ring, JIC, and ORFS.

I bought a top-n-tilt from Brian. The hoses and fittings he supplied did the job with about half the parts I would have needed had I designed it, and much more compactly, too. So this is an area where experience helps.

Snap and post a picture with a ruler in it for scale and someone should quickly be able to give you the alphabet soup of what you need.

Just an update, not sure I'm to happy with my dealer right now.

I have owned a couple of machines that have been dealer bought and need parts from them, but this is my first tractor and first Kioti.

So I got my filters and other maintenance stuff today. Had a hydraulic hose break so I added that to the order. I head to the dealer which is 45 miles away. Get the items head home, after getting home I started to look at my receipt they charge SHIPPING!

Now I'm not a rocket scientist, but I have dealt a little bit with dealerships and not once have I ever been charge shipping on anything I purchased. Even if they didn't have the item in stock, still didn't get charged shipping. Now items are market up to cover that as a business expense.

So this is my thinking and sad truth. Dealer items marked up for a profit however charged shipping. Then to top it off charged an extra 3% for my card to be used instead of cash or check, if I known that I would of brought a check.

Needless to say, I won't be getting anything unless I have to from them. Why am I going to drive 90 miles round trip and still pay shipping. I'll just order my stuff off line and save the gas for now on.

Disappointed in what I felt was a good dealership.

Wow. That's bad. So much for supporting the local economy, instead of buying online.

I prefer to support local business, but I'm not going to be taken advantage of.

I was just amazed that it was so obvious. Not to mention they should be making their own hoses in-house and should have filters stocked on the shelves for every machine they have sold in the last couple years. That is just good business in my eyes.

Right, when i call a local dealer asking for parts, and they tell me they need to order it (common with the Bobcat dealer, since they don't stock a lot of tractor stuff), i have the option for them to get it with their regular order, for no cost, shipped to them at cost (quicker), or shipped directly to me, at the same cost. Saves me the time and the fuel. Plus, dealer hours are the most inconvenient times for me.
