Rider 155 deck height adjustment?

Anyone know how to adjust the deck height on a rider 155? I kept telling my wife to raise the deck on the mower because it was too low. I tried mowing and she had the deck all the up. I found a threaded rod by the right front tire that I adjusted but it still seems its cutting too low.

I recall seeing the instructions in the User's Manual, but I also remember it being more complicated than I want to fool with. Mine came with correct adjustment and the only time it has changed has been with tire pressure not being even. I would check your tires first to be the correct pressure, and all exactly the same, i.e. 8.5 psi

IF that is not the problem, per page 33-34 of the Operator's Manual, put a bathroom scale under the front edge of the mower assembly frame, then set the ground pressure adjustment screw to 26.5 - 33 pounds with that rod you found by the right front tire.

Then, if all else fails, and you don't have the Operator's Manual, sent me a PM and I'll scan those two pages for you.

Thanks Gem. I read that, unfortunately the only bath scale we have is some fancy electronic scale my wife purchased. She would kill me if she saw me sticking it under the mower. Haha. Might have to wait till she leaves to play tennis.

Haha! I need more than a Rider 155. Need to upgrade to a kubota F series.
