RTV1140 for plowing snow advise

Have located a Curtis Sno Pro 3000 plow locally with "Curtis Quick connect?". Seller keeping inside wiring for his coming replacement larger plow. He's been using on a Dodge PU. How much trouble is it going to be to connect this to my RTV1140 mechanics/attachment/adapter plate wise? I know I'll have to buy inside controller and inside wiring harness.

That would be a job to make work on the RTV.

Maybe. The mount might be too low when fitted to the RTV. All the work would have to be done by a welder/fabricator.

Passed on the Curtis for $450. Believe it would require to much to make it work on my RTV but seems a good deal for someone with a truck wanting a snowplow. On Lexington, Ky Craigslist or I can give anyone that wants the mans phone number and name.

I'm still looking. Most less costly plows say they don't fit my 2012 RTV1140CPX with 2" reese hitch. Maybe just removing the reese hitch will let them work. Anyone know for sure?

If you decide to check into the Boss V again give Red's garage in NY a call....they have the best pricing I've seen. They crushed all the local guys prices even though they had to ship it to me.

Got my plow, assembled it yesterday and installed it on my Skid Steer but it will also mount on my RTV1140CPX, slides right into the 2" Reese hitch on the front and will on the back also. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...3010-anyone-actual-hands-experience-dr-2.html pictures here.

I had a Eagle plow on my Gator for two very tough Vermont winters. For 5-6 inches of snow, it worked great (more than 6 inches or so, I'd use the tractor).
