I never realized there were fresh water pelicans until we took a trip to yellowstone. They were in rivers and lakes all over the place. We even say a bear make a dash for them in a river. That was cool! :laughing:

I'll bet the Pelican didn't think so.

Around here we find the french fry stands by locating the circulating sea gulls!
The more the gulls the greasier the fries are.

There was a whole bunch of them on this sandbar just south of the fishing bridge. We were heading east, crossing the bridge, leaving the park for the day, bummed that we hadn't seen any bears... I just happened to look back to the right at the pelicans on the sandbar and this big old bear comes charging across that shallow water between the west bank and the sandbar. Water was spraying, he was galloping and the pelicans just sat there until the last minute, then flew away. The bear came stomping to a halt on the sandbar. People started honking behind us, so we got moving rather than cause a bear jam. :thumbsup:

Thanks Larry. It's turned out to be a worthy investment. I use it for the piddly chores that doesn't require a FEL. Sure saves a lot of time switching implements with 2 tractors.

Yeah, the longest can only be 120 pix. I'm actually ahead of my buddy Murph!!!!! That don't happen much!!!!
