Discusion of CO2 and it's effect on warming!

The planet has been warming up since the end of the last ice age. That is why the ice age ended.
Recently at the base of a glacier that was melting sea shells were found. That meant before the glacier formed the area was a sea and sea creatures lived there.

The more of the ice caps melt the faster the planet will warm up, the faster the planet warms up the faster the ice melts. Nothing we do will change that.
This planet has gone through several ice ages which means it has warmed up and cooled down several times before humans were here. At one time in history the surface was covered in ice. Now we are in another cycle. The sun monitoring satellites have recorded temperature rise in the sun since the 70's.
As the sun warms up so does the planet.

Global cooling was the scare in the 70's and early 80's.
The claim was we were heading into another ice age.
Seems what ever gets you taxpayer money for research is what is popular at the time.

Exactly Mate. 'Climate Change' is an ambiguous catch-all title... climate is always changing.

As the old adage goes; Follow the Money. The problem with these CC scientists is that they have bills to pay... so they have to do what pays money to pay those bills. The same goes for products. One moment/month 'Product A' is bad for you (small print: research sponsored by 'Product B'), the next moment/month 'Product A' is good for you (small print: research sponsored by 'Product A').

One of the causes of global warming is my wife, I go down the basement to fill up the wood stove, she goes upstairs and opens up the windows, thinking that the cold air coming in the windows is forcing the warm air back down.

Yea, about 2" closer.

I own property 8.5' above sea level, built it in 2012 and have no flood insurance. I sleep just fine too.

Despite my innate intolerance to anyone with a British accent and Einstein hair the video was very informative in disproving the cyclic argument of global warming. Unfortunately, reason and discourse have gone the way of manners and education. At the end of the day I am not going to stop using CO2 engines so I suppose I'm the hypocrite.

To entirely rule out "cyclical" effects of warming...we could do away with Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall...!
Just in the current news...Einstein's theory of gravitational waves has been realized...can you imagine if a scientist/theorist like Einstein had been getting funded by entities with their own agendas??

If you look at the really big picture...People of Earth (in reality) know so little...yet they try to use what little they know to explain things they have no real clue about...cycles are a human created thing...without calendars or clocks...Everything in the universe as we know is dynamic...there is nothing in our own solar system more dynamic than our Sun...and it literally controls all the dynamics of Earth...!

BUT...

It's believed that if you hear something long enough you'll tend to believe it...it's a proven method...!

The less informed, naive people are the more gullible they tend to be...

There are very few environmental issues that have gotten so polarized about something that is so biased politically...

Anyone got an idea of how many different "scientific" weather entities...use the exact same data from a very limited number of *resources*...i.e., satellites, ocean WX buoys etc., etc...but come up with different results?...

Einstein said on several occasions...: "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts."

Just curious...with yet another of Albert's theories being proven...can we hope that in the last 60+ years since he's passed that there is one or more already among us that will ever be so insightful?
