What have you messed up, with your tractor? Including ROPS into garage...

I've hit the garage with the rops but luckily didn't do too much damage. Also stripped the threads in the transmission drain plug when changing the transmission oil. Turned the wrong way when trying to loosen the drain plug. I just figured it was on there real tight.

Hitting the overhead garage door, trim or header with a ROPS is like a right of passage into tractor hood wisdom. I'll bet you won't do that again!


I caught the garage door once heading out and creased the lower panel one time seveal years ago.

Good thing its on the inside.

Was backing the 3540 into the garage/barn with the LP3584 BB and a HLA 2000,84" front blade on and being extra careful as I had 2 pallets of wood pellets stacked on right inside. As I'm backing with plows angled being very careful to make sure back blade does not hit bags of pellets, front blade just hits inside of trim and peels off new Gray weather molding and seal on the left side!Good thing I bought two extra pieces, just in case, ha.

I hate 7 foot doors too, but my tractor won't fit under a 8 foot door either. My old garage had 8 foot doors which is why I only tore the trim off and didn't do worse damage. My new garage has 9 foot doors. Problem solved.

I wadded up the loader level indicator rod after the tube became unscrewed and loose in the first 10 hours. I straightened it out and used locktite on the tube threads. BUT several trees in the area are really sorry they didn't move when a turning FEL bucket came too close. I have been pretty lucky so far.
