Anyone get on of these government surveys ?

Dont answer it, they wont let you alone!!! If you do one its like they know your willing and will keed sending them to you. Once you do respond you cant not, they send the sensus workers after you.

That's not true at all. In fact, it's ridiculous.

When i refused to do the second communities survey all i told them was how many people lived there adn that was all they needed per the constitution is it just was a head count. I said i filled that out 3-4 years earlier and they argued and told me i didnt that was the 10 year sensus the regular one..i said no it wasent it was the "american communities survey" and just look at thier records if they want and fill every thing out the same except i have a child and nothing changed. They said well see you had a kid something has, and i said yes i just told you that. They said what about your income..i said its statistically the same, probably not even in the next bracket you have for me to choose. Kept asking i said ok add $5k to my last one. they said i cant see it, i said yall have it somewhere just look, i am not answering. we have a young son and time is short and the last one took me 15-20 mins. He said you couldnt have done it , we only send them out like every 5-10 years..i said well you doubled me up. And i recited like a dozen questions off of it and then asked how would i know those questions if i had not just taken it a few years ago...still argued i had not!! The guy cussed me out on the phone and i was nothing but nice !! haha A few days later another one called and i said look quit calling you can tell your super i am not answering and pull up the phone records and get the last guys name he cussed me out and slammed the phone down!!

A few week or so later a lady showed up at the door with census badge and a computer. i was at work and wife let her in. She had our infant/newborn son in her arms. And she asked all those stupid question. baby crying and wife having to stop to feed him. I was mad when she told me that. One that she did not tell the lady to leave and get off the property..just out of pricipal but that the lady did not say oh im sorry we have all we need!!!! She is just too nice. I would of told them to leave the property there not invited and if they refused i would call the sherif.

Never received a survey. I lawyer told me that anything you get in the mail has is not legally binding to tell you what to do. There is no way to prove you actually received it.

Eddie I 've been considering that . I 'm bouncing between sending it and filing it in the truncated conical file cabinet. Knowing that if I send it, I become a target for every imaginable and some unimaginable government survey .

Have you got as many as i have? from 08-15 i have gotten 5 government surveys!!! Whats that math work out too, im just looking and not even done the math but close to one every 18 months? Have you gotten that many? Know anyone who has? I did the first one i think in the fall/early winter 08 when i first moved into my house. I have never done one before and this was the first house i have owned. Im only 33

They are trying to get data so they can sell or give to data mining companies. That's the primary purpose of the census these days.

I’ve received one. And I filled it out. Never got another. How many other people do you know that filled them out and then received them over and over. And how many people do you know that had census works “sent after them”?

I get that others have not got many. But are you saying that my wife lied about one visiting? Do you quesion the multiple phone calls i got including one that cussed me out? Or do you question the number of censuses that i got?

The last one that i did last year was the college one, it even asked for an adress and two other people that did not live with me that would "know my whereabouts" so that they could contact me for future surveys (followups)!! That basically says now that we got you on this one were gonna follow you and recheck your answers in future i guess to see if i still am in my field or not, not like a thing like haha were gonna bug you to death.

The surveys i have done were :

American comunities surevey two times ( this is what come call the long census form but its really not i dont think a more detailed surevey to get demographics from) once in like late 08 and the second time it arrived in late 12 or 13

The real census, around about 2010 like when every one got them.

I remember that AG surevey at some point in this time

And then just this last year 2015 i got the College graduate servey census. (they asked what my education was, was in, where i worked, do i use my degree, etc)

Of course not. I'm saying that it's ridiculous to claim that if someone returns the survey all these things WILL happen. You're the first person I've ever heard make those claims, so I'm guessing your experience would be the exception rather than the rule.

I found the magic answer I was looking for even though I did not ask it here . In fine print buried nicely in the survey are the words, " Response is voluntary " .

i say it half jokingly but also have to think that it could be somewhat true in my head. I just seem to have had way to many surveys in too short of a time.

Kind of like once you do one phone survey i swear they will be relentless with you after that.
