Can anyone identify the actual model# of this compressor. (specs would be great) I was told it was replaced, so it may not be what is on the tank's plaque. Does anyone have any experience with this type of compressor? It is currently powered by a 15h 3ph motor, I would have to convert it to a single phase 7.5 hp motor, and change the pulleys to slow it down enough that the smaller motor is not overworked. As always, thanks in advance for any help.

Unless you are working on major construction equipment, having 250 psi around sounds dangerous.
Shops that service dump trucks usually operate compressors at 175 psi.
The compressor is a two stage so it will produce high pressures, far more than the average farm or home shop would ever need.
If I was going to operate it, I would want to have the tank hydro-statically tested to ensure that it will not blow up in your face one day due to internal rusting.

Ditto what Dave M7040 said. There should be some casting marks on the compressor to help Id it.
Inspect the outside of the tank for gouges or cuts. That may condem the tank in a hydro test.

I spoke with some retired Gardner Denver people last week. They have a technical dept. here in Quincy. They said if you call them here in Quincy with the plate info they can tell you everything about the compressor, if you want modifications I'm not sure.
