Here are some pic of a hard working Kubota RTV900 in the field.

It IS a Kubota. :)
If you get it hooked up a Kubota will pull it. You might have to take it easy on a JD. Brand bashing aside the Kubota is geared low and diesel powered.

I wonder what would actually happen? It appears to be a heavy duty 2" strap.

Seriously, how many people tie something down when it is in the bed of their truck with the tailgate up and no chance of blowing out?

All the time, keeps things secure from damaging the truck bed or other cars/people in case of an accident (well hopefully).

Yep. When I go to get gas (with 5-6 5 gallon cans in the back of the truck) I ALWAYS strap them in. No chance of them coming through the back window for a visit that way.

My pet peeve is how pickups have poor tie down points. My 06 F 350 has loops in each corner but they are hard to reach because of the bed liner. Why don't trucks come with better attachment points, both high and low? I hauled a load of college furniture this weekend and it was hard to find anywhere to attach ropes or straps. I did bolt some self retracting ratcheting straps (like seat belts) to the floor of my bed in each corner. I use them all the time. Even when hauling something small like a 5 gallon diesel container it allows me to strap it down to prevent it from sliding around. Wish trucks were better equipped for tie down points and retractable straps.

Sent from my iPad using TractorByNet

They do if you but a Nissan. My 08 Titan had rails down both bed sides and bed floor with 8 adjustable hooks. They were basically cargo aircraft rails.
