Congrats on your new Kubota. I have a ford 961 and while I love that tractor I would take my 5240 every time if I could only have one.

I learned to operate a tractor on a Ferguson just like yours, oh about 57 years ago, at age 12. Amazingly, both the tractor and I survived the experience. Congrats on that very nice looking new one!

Classic Tractor Fever on RFD covered the Fergusons, Fordsons etc., all very interesting. I grew up at a time when Ferguson, Minneapolis Moline, Oliver, Ferguson etc. were in common use. My brother has newer and bigger tractors, but you are as likely to see him on his 601 or our 600 bought new in the 50's as anything if he doesn't need a FEL.
