I finally took the plunge and bought a Massey Ferguson GC 1720. I would like to thank the members of this forum for providing excellent information, that made my research prior to my purchase so much easier.

mddorange, right now I am using it on the 2 acres I own. However, in the future we plan on buying some land (20 to ? acres). But for now, it will be used to cut the grass, clean the ditches, maintain my 100 yard driveway, and basically anything else I can think of. We are thinking about a small garden, but not sure if we will yet.

Sounds like you have enough to do now. If you want that garden next year, start getting the land ready now. Do some soil samples and see what will be needed.
