Biting black flies

Did God make a mistake, or did the devil snooker him into including biting black flies?

How they manage to find the backs of your hands while mowing, don't know. And if you have a scratch or something...finding that, over and over. And this old man had to mow, 4+ acres, and bet I swatted flies couple hundred times.

They usually get me on the back while riding along. Difficult place to slap them off.

We have small fish flies that bite. Deer flies that bite. Horse flies that bite. Gnats that bite. But sometimes we have so many mosquitos that you can see them in the airs as clouds.

That's pretty much what we have here. We seem to really get it bad for a week or so, then it slacks off. I think the predators catch up to them.

I hear you bad here also :confused2: kill one three will take its place,for some reason they are bothering twice as much this year that I can remember....even the cat doesn't want to go outside.

I have something new biting me lately. Small black and kinda look like a fruit fly... Triangle shaped

Triangle shape makes me think deer fly. They specialize in attacking the head and annoying the bejeezus out of you. They won't stop until they successfully get your blood or you squash em.
