New X 300

The L130 started out mowing the lawn in one hour, by the time it reached 260-270 hours it was taking three hours to mow.

I am working out in a field in my tractor, so using my GA phone to reply. The LA 130 was a typo.

I paid$2884 for the X300. I don't know how much markup there is but I didn't have any luck with a lower offer . I am really liking this tractor over my LX176 and am using the plastic key fob to override the PTO in reverse.I have the 42 in deck and the mulching plug and it does a fair job, thinking about getting some gator blades to replace the standard blades.

Thats a good price for X300- dealers don't have much of a markup. I got my X300 in spring when $500 off deal was still running. Love the X300 so far

Two small problems with my new X300. The mulch plug was not fitting down in the channel in the bottom of the deck and collected a ridge of grass under the bottom and the mulching was not good with the standard blade. Bought Predator Blades from dealer for $31.50 and drilled another hole to fasten the bunge at the front of mulch plug to the bottom of bracket for the anti scalp wheel. Both problems solved and am enjoying the new toy.

Congrats again on your purchase- the X300 should deliver years of good performance
