Can you just resharpen them?

Tiller tines seem to stay sharp enough without doing anything to them. Mine are wearing down as I would expect much like an old knife. I plan on ordering a new set of tines and bolts this week to have on hand.

Hmmm interesting. You must have really rocky or sandy soil. Basically grinding the tines.

With that much tilling I would expect them to be a wear item In my searches for tillers and information I found at least one aftermarket place that makes replacement tines; I'm sure the dealer can get them as well.

FWIW in the end I'll be going with a 7' Tarter from Sweet Tractors.

My ground was clay gravel and it didn't take that long to wear them out.When I was tilling it sounded like a war I was only able to do it after a big rain.Thats why I changed to the multiplow I couldn't stand just tearing something up.I was also concerned what it was doing to my tractor.Ive since sold that place and now I have sandy lome.My tractor,implements,horses and cows are glad we are out of there.

Yeah sounds like the wrong conditions for a tiller. Good you went with the plow.
