I don't know the answer to that; but you've got me curious...I will add this: Ford developed a V12 OHV aircraft engine (never used) about that time but later converted it to a 1100 cu in V8 which was used in the WWII Sherman Tank. What a monster!
I thought most Sherman tanks were powered by a 9 cylinder radial. ???
Ford produced lots of different engines, The one I ask about was really cute. but looked almost the same as the V85.
Is no one going to guess on the 60s American passenger car that was super charged ?????
