I wish I would've bought the dk40 before I purchased the ck35. It cost me more when I upgraded.

Well....I just went ahead with the DK. After all the great advice you all provided me with, I couldn't go CK. Now the fun begins in about a week and a half! I owe you all a lot.

Another question, how much does the TopNTilt cost and what exactly does it do? I didn't get it because I didn't realize it COULD be so handy. Should I see if its not too late to have it added in? Is it worth it?

Brian here on the forum can fix you up. Provided you have two remotes if you want both hydraulic toplink and hydraulic side link.. (the tilt part). If you have only one, there are several ways to add more rear remotes to run things. Of course you can check with the dealer to see what they have and how much. Is it worth it? The guys that have it say it is.. If you do a lot of blade work, it probably is. I don't have it, but what little blade work I have done, made me want it. I may put it on myself some day, it is just all about the money.:) I want a lot of things.

I think the hydraulic toplink is a must. The tilt is important only if you are grading as best I can tell. I only have the hydraulic toplink and wouldn't be without it.

Well done! I am too late to the dance but would have given the same advice. You will not regret going larger and heavier, particularly for FEL work.

Thanks again for everyone still checking in with all the advice. Im still confused with the TNT. Do I already have the top from the factory and need the tilt?

No, the DK comes with one set of rear remotes but a mechanical topping lift. Simply getting a hydraulic cylinder with hoses and QCs is all you need to convert though. You'll need an extra rear remote plus appropriate cylinder to get the tilt.

Congrats. You won't regret the larger machine. I've read these posts for several years and I don't recall anyone who wished they bought a smaller tractor.

The first thing you'll need is two rear remotes. These are quick disconnect hydraulic connectors with flow controlled by a lever by your right knee. Two remotes means two levers and four QDs.

These QDs are useful for several implements that use hydraulics, including top-n-tilt.

The top link is a hydraulic cylinder, controlled by one of the levers, which replaces the mechanical turn-buckle top link. The tilt is similar except the cylinder replaces one of the side links. These are VERY useful with a blade or box blade. The OEM mechanical adjustments do the same thing but you have to dismount to make an adjustment and that is very slow and gets old fast, With the hydraulic T-B-T you can instantly tweak all the time with ease. It's hard to explain how convenient this is until you do it.

As an old man that has got off and on the tractor a bunch of times adjusting for a blade.. I can sure imagine it pretty clearly.:D
