Kubota L5030 GSTsoon to be Kubota M7060 HDC12
anyone have a M series kubota.. How is it? I am just about to order a M7060HDC12 from our local Kubota Dealer, and i am looking for some feedback. I just sold my Grand L 5030 which was my second Kubota (L3650). and i already miss it!Thanks for any info you got.

I've got the older 40 series a bit bigger, M9540HD12.

The 12 speed is the bees knees as is the park feature. The hydro shuttle will have you spoiled in no time.

Never been in the new M7060 but have spent several hours in a M9960. If you pull the trigger I do not think you will be disappointed.

I have a 9540HDC24-1 dual speed. Love it.
Might want to look for a low hour 40 series an get away from pollution nonsense.

I have one. Got about forty hours so far only doing light work. Mine has regened three times in those hours so it's something to look out for. I find the sit to become somewhat uncomfortable if riding for a few hours and box blading or looking back a lot. Otherwise, seems to be well constructed and I'm looking forward to working it harder to see how it performs.

thank you DT 86

Yes Sir. The older rigs like Hay Dude mentioned avoid all that BS.

That's where I was when I purchased. I could have bought a 60 series, but when I learned of the cost, extra pollution components and the associated hassles with them, I spent $20,000 less and bought a clean 40 series under warranty and pocketed the savings.

We have an M8540HDC 12/12, also owned an L5030, and we've really been very happy with it. We didn't have time to wait for additional options, but if we had, I would have gotten an air ride seat, cast centers and a third rear remote as well as third function valve for a grapple as we have a lot of woods, we are running the grapple off one of the rear remotes; some may not need this. Anyway, I think you'll like it.

See if you can find a 9540 HDC1 24 speed. It comes loaded with big tractor accessories found in my bigger tractors most guys would die for.

I purchased a M7060HDC12 a few months ago and I absolutely love it. Traded my L4330 in on it and have not had one regret about doing so. Currently have about 380 hours on the new one and it has been completely trouble free. Loaded mine with all the options and it is a joy to operate.

thanks for the reply, I ordered one yesterday,M7060HDC12 4x4, 3rd function valve (4in1) self leveling control valve, (FEL), KSR, single lever hydro quick coupler, 19.5-24 R4 rubber, Air seat, 3 total remote hydro valves (rear)grill guard, REI radio..I think the only option i didn't get was the defroster and wiper for the rear window. I sold my L5030 last weekend and I already miss it, I hope i can survive the 4 weeks for my new machine gets here!! The neighbors think i am nuts for buying a 70 hp tractor for my 5 acres. Have you had to regen yet?

I have KSR a on both my M's and love it. Great for carrying round bales across fields.
I installed the KSR myself. Dealer wanted ~$800 installed. Found a kit on eBay for $200!!!! Installed it myself in about an hour. Very easy.
I wouldn't trade my 9540 dual speed for anything. Best of the pre emmissions kubotas.

Mine has probably gone through the regen cycle 4-5 times. You don't even know it's doing it if it wasn't for the light on the dash telling you so. I find all the talk about the "new " emissions equipment being terrible completely ludicrous. It's kind of like saying "You can't buy that car, there is to much to go wrong with it. Find a good used, older model horse and wagon instead."

Hey Toxic and Hey Dude, thanks for the Reply.. I thought that the emissions deal was a big deal, i talked to my Kubota dealer voiced my concerns. He informed me that all the emission equipment is warranted for 3000 hrs or 5 years. that is all i needed to hear, that Kubota is standing behind it. Do you have the single lever quick coupler on the FEL? how is it if you have it? i ordered it and i hope it is worth it.

I upgraded to a m21 loader instead of the LA1134, at least I think that's the number? The LA loaders are made by kubota themselves, and while very nice they don't have the quality and robustness of the M loaders which are made by ALO/Quicke. And while mine does have a quick connect valve body it is a different design than what's on the LA series.

I keep hearing about these Quicke loaders. Can you post some pictures? They sound nice.
