Well, well... here's a great deal ( or, a scam? ) for somebody! Maybe it has no engine??

When people change capitalization and put text in the picture it's because the text matches the spam filters and CL either won't put the ad in the system or just deletes it.

If you call that number most likely you're going to get some story like "I'm working in 'x' state [too far away from where you would drive to see the tractor]. Send me money and I'll ship you the tractor."

And if you say "What a coincidence, I have a friend who drives a semi truck and he is deadheading back from the next town over and he can pick it up to save you some dough" they disappear...

I saw an ad on CL once that made me chuckle. It went something like this, "price is $4800 firm...or if you are the type that must negotiate, the price is $5500 and we can argue back and forth and end up at $4800, either way is fine with me".

People around here have a bad habit of taking their pictures in the dark. Half of the time you can't even tell what the object is.

I'm going to use this strategy from now on.lol

IIRC, they charge for real estate listings in some big cities (NYC; San Francisco, etc).

I believe they charge for employment ads as well in some cities.

4sale.com charges for every picture after the 4th I think. They used to charge for all pics, but know you get four for free.
