Rotary Cutter Land Pride or Bush Hog flex wing cutter?

I'm looing at a Land Pride RC4015 and a Bush Hog 1815. Best local quote for the RC4015 is $13,600 and the BH 1815 is $12,700. I'll mainly use it for mowing grass/weeds, maybe some saplings down the road. Lot's of local dealers for parts/service for both manufactures. My JD has 75 HP at PTO. I've never owned a flex cutter, so all comments appreciated!

Both are good brands. If money is not an issue, go with a Woods. We have one and it's tough, I mean tough! We've also used Schulte's in the grove before. They are very well made as well. But for the ranch, our Woods has held up to some extreme abuse.

If you have a Rhino dealer nearby, you might also throw the Rhino flex wing cutter in the mix. The Apex 3150 would probably be the model that would compete with the LP and BH models you listed. Rhino builds really good equipment.

I bought the LP Plainsman back in august for $11,900. I have had good luck with LP and that's why I decided to stay with them. It's a solid cutter,love the smooth deck.

You won't regret getting the flex-wing,they sure are nice. I pull mine with 64pto you will be good. When you turn around and cutting 15ft you getting something done.

Not sure if that app works or not to fix the problem. But it is a known issue that it allegedly fixes.
