Well we didn't get half as much as they were saying... but still a good 6" or so.

Pretty happy with how the new shoes turned out

1 5/8" gap. Seems like a fair bit, but the way I welded a nut on the shoe first, then welded the threaded rod to it... I can't put them up any more. I could always made a longer wear bar.

Didn't scrape any gravel, and kept enough snow to make a base. I guess that's what matters.

Had big plans for a video... but sometimes things don't work out like you'd hope.

A little sample... I'll try to get a better vid put together later.

Tony that's a regular 9' truck plow by Diamond. I built the ssqa mount for it. I did a little thread on it here a month ago or so. You guy's got hit pretty good on LI right?
Your plow just looked to be about 36" high. I don't know of any that tall other than the Dozer. I am contemplating buying for my larger tractor.
Yes, depending how far East you are on the Island. I am pretty far east. Hard to tell with all the deep snow drifts but I'd say about 18" fell. Of course,my little garden tractor with the plow on it was nothing more than a little bump in the snow this morning. Literally couldn't see it until I dug down.

I'm actually praying for snow, and quite envious of the New England states (,,,,,the ones who got snow). We have almost NOTHING here in the Central Cascades (Washington State). Its the end of January and we have several days of 38, 39 degree weather in the forecast!

Here's my favorite snow weapon (when there's snow). 500 ccs of wickedness, all dressed up with nowhere to go.
