New Kubota RTV500 Owner Questions

Hi and Welcome. I purchased a new RTV500 last summer. I installed a Superwinch Terra 4500lb winch with steel cable. It was a big job that took me a full day. If you don't have a big variety of tools and wiring/fabrication experience you might want to hire it done. I just did my 50 hour service yesterday. I think they are great machines. Here are some pictures

I installed the Kubota Warn winch kit in the 500 I had....it was a good 3 hr job, the instructions and all brackets are included in the kit so it's a straight forward install. I'm not sure what the kit costs by itself but for $500 I think I'd just have them install it, Warn makes a good winch that will last many other brands aren't nearly as durable.

When I got rid of my RTV 500 I pulled the winch off and that 2500 lb Warn is now on my Gator 825i....works great on that also even though it's heavier. I definitely recommend a Warn winch either way you go.

Guys thanks for the welcome and for all the advice. Great suggestions all around. Really enjoy the pictures too. I really love my 500 especially since it was a birthday present from my wife. It will take some getting used to though. After owning only 4 wheelers my whole life, taking steep hills in the Kubota at a crawl doesn't seem normal.

What part of Mississippi are you in.
I have 70 acres in Union county and an apartment in New Albany and am in a lease of another 4,500 acres in Tippah county near Blue Mountain.

Cool. Good hunting down there ain't it? I am ready for turkey season.

It sure is. I have a little over 100 acres and my son and I lease 1500 adjacent to my property. Deer are plentiful but we've just begun to nurture some turkey.
