Well you may have decided to look down on the pickup truck drivers that don't haul 10,000 lbs and you decided they are "weekend warriors" ......but there are millions of truck owners that just want a truck to haul their fishing boat or popup camper trailer with a canoe on top...........or the guy that wants it to put his ATV or dirt bike in the back with their hunting or fishing gear. They all don't need to make their living from their truck. Yes there are the odd few guys and gals that just want the tall truck with shiny wheels........but they are more likely to buy the short box F150 with the 4 banger to drive back and forth to the mall that only keep their vehicles until the lease runs out.... they are not going to be the ones that researched the advantages of owning a diesel truck with reasonable capabilities and long term lifespan and efficiency including farmers and hunters/fishermen. We will see more of that market expand once GM Canyon and others jump on that bandwagon. I would of bought one if my Dodge dealer had more than one of them, (it was a crew cab that I didn't want and I needed new that month. Open your mind please, not everyone needs to be just like you...and what does it matter anyway they aren't forcing you to drive their truck, they made a sales market choice lets see how it plays out , Ford made a choice for certain 4 banger sales market too, each to his own the more choice the better.
