68F and no rain last 24 hours.

Got the old grills and other junk hauled off to transfer station and picked up the new grill at HD. Got it mostly assembled, all but the operating innards. Seems quite well builds, especially compared to the Brinkman it replaced. I went with the Weber Genesis E330. A bit pricey for sure.

Be safe
Have a great day

2014-11-05, 0338 43 right now...a lot warmer then this time yesterday! Won't be much warmer during the day though...high is to be 53. Looks like the national elections went quite well...

Wish I could say the same for the local one here. But I voted so I was the right to grumble :)

Another heat wave 40 degrees right now and heading up into the high 50痴 today got the barn overhead doors on yesterday so no more blowing leaves out of there...

Looks really great, Wayne

Good Morning. 1110, sunny, 81F with 61% humidity. Forecast high of 79F with 10% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 58F tonight. It was a pretty early night for an election night last night. We got home by 2130. I was a little surprised that the medical marijuana didn't pass. It had 58% but needed 60% to pass. If they had waited two years there would have been a much bigger turnout among the younger folks. In a very rare happening these days, our sitting congressman got beat.

On a brighter note, my friend who teaches Taekwondo at the Civic Center won his race for County Commissioner in Jackson County {the county to the north of here}. I'm going to call him up and ask him why my road has pot holes. He really does care about him community, because he is a big farmer, works part time for the Sheriff's Office, teaches Taekwondo and buys and sells cars. He made a ton of money in beach condos when the market was going up and doesn't have to work if he didn't want to. He could just fly his two planes and watch the world go by. I'm interested to see if he runs for re-election in four years. Being a County Commissioner is about the worst job in politics IMO.

I'm doing work around the house this morning. Then going into work in a little while.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I really want Larro's Ponce De Leon Fountain Of Youth tonic. He told me he found a well on his property and is bottling the stuff like mad. I mean look at Larro's pic now, he looks 14! Must be good stuff.

got up this morning, put shoes on, walked the entire length of the house to take a leak, and boy is that getting old. Actually the 2am trip while I was half asleep was even more enjoyable... They are grouting the tile today; maybe the toilet can go back on too. Am using the bathroom upstairs until this is all done.

Drew my tonic must be wearing off. For the first time since I have lost the weight, my back is kicking me in the butt the last two days. Tomorrow is my lifting day, so I'll double up on the tonic and hope it's back to normal by then.

And doesn't your bedroom have an outside door. Didn't you get the memo that the best thing about living in the country is being able to pee off the porch:D

Got coffee pot brewing. 36ー with clear skies this morning. Heading to 54ー with sun until late when clouds move in. Leaves are falling. But not enough to pickup yet. Need to get some small items cleaned up on motorhome before leaving later this month.
Irv, it's always depressing to drive on the east side of Detroit. They are cleaning up Bell Isle. Hope they bring it back to it's former beauty. Which plant did you work at?
Good Morning All.

Lynch Road Assembly in the 1970's, (Chrysler). Connor Avenue Stamping, 1979, 1980. West side, Clark Street, Cadillac Motor Car Company. Then in several plants until 2008.

and yes there is a door there, and only two steps down to the grass. Sounds like a bottom step affair to me. Or perhaps I could live/pee large off the second step, but gosh, just don't know about the top step. Pretty daring to me. ;) and then one needs to contemplate the wind and all sorts of things that really are not foremost on one's mind. only the aaaahhhhhh.

Wayne, that barn is really nice looking, great job.
Irv, by any chance did you know my father in law, Don Neubauer? He ran a couple of GM plants, including the Fisher Guide one in Trenton NJ.
It was because of him I was stuck buying Cadillacs for my wife. Her father got a new one every year from the company and she was daddy's girl, and making good bucks as an ICU nurse so she was driving a very nice STS sedan in that extra fancy white paint they have. Actually I got her to downgrade to other GM cars, but
her last car was a bright red XTS.

two young guys sawing up the kitchen floor at the minute, pounding, crashing, whining, like a giant dental drill. Ahhh, now the sound of chisels smacking into things.
The symphony of destruction. Badda Badda Boomba Boom
I should probably put headphones on and watch a netflix movie until they are gone.
