good morning all, a warmer 53 here going to 73. Rain forecast for tomorrow has pretty much fizzled, hope something shows up.
yesterday's appt with the arthritis doc was disappointing, nothing new, nothing other than what was done for me before, my this is a bad mri, lose twenty pounds (sigh...) and do warm water swimming. Well, I'm going to start with the hot tub and do a lot of toe exercises...that must be what he is talking about...

Today I head off to Greenville to see the pain doc where I was told ahead of time they have nothing new either. Oh well...suck it up and keep going.
I really want Larro's Ponce De Leon Fountain Of Youth tonic. He told me he found a well on his property and is bottling the stuff like mad. I mean look at Larro's pic now, he looks 14! Must be good stuff.
kitchen floor is being torn out, bit of a challenge since they want to tear out the little bathroom floor nearby too and I told them wait, do you guys like having a toilet?
The master bath is gutted, the bathroom I'm in has a tile floor drying and no toilet, uh, you take the third and last one and well guys...they got the message. Don't take the toilet off until the other one goes back in. got up this morning, put shoes on, walked the entire length of the house to take a leak, and boy is that getting old. Actually the 2am trip while I was half asleep was even more enjoyable... They are grouting the tile today; maybe the toilet can go back on too. Am using the bathroom upstairs until this is all done. Just a little more upheaval added to my disorder.
landscapers are laying sod down the entire length of my new driveway; everyone agreed that was best due to time of year and getting it done. So that comes in today around noon and those guys starting laying green, literally and figuratively. Half centipede, half another grass, based on sun vs. shade. First part of lane is heavily shaded and last part is fully in sun. We shall see. so about one month after the driveway was put down it will finally look finished. And it looks like I will be on daily water patrol. When I moved here it seemed to downpour every day. Now when I have thirty shrubs planted, half an acre of grass seed down, and all this sod getting put down, the rain has disappeared. I think it all went to Texas. I suppose that's fair for once.
