Had blood drawn this morning to test for Lyme and other tick-borne bad stuff. I've had a couple bouts of muscle and joint pain, low-grade fever and extreme lethargy for three-four days (as opposed to my normal somewhat lethargic state :laughing the past two months. The doctor prescribed a two week course of doxycycline without seeing the test results. I think the tests are not all that reliable anyways.

Thanks, I will. Hopefully the tests will show something to aim at. Lyme is so variable from very debilitating to hardly any symptoms.

well, in all, somewhat..., seriousness, had a good day today, carpenters came and finished the roughing in of the new bathroom, plumbing and electric mostly done, now inspection and the sheetrocking will begin. Tile was not ordered on time, so it looks like sometime in December before I take my first shower in there and can move in. I told the contractors I'd throw a xmas party for them so they had better get it done. Actually, that seemed to motivate them...guess they didn't want their part not done when guests arrive...

Funny, I found this very large punch bowl packed away, never knew "I" owned it...., and an entire box of punch glasses. Well, the Christmas Punch is ready to rock and roll.

cooking a pizza in my new oven and the smells are more like oxidized paint and preservative than spinach and parmesan...probably should have done a dry run first.

My thoughts exactly. So I put on an apron and I'm making some faux but nutritious baby back ribs, with spicy baked potato fries and broccoli.
Hmmm, that put on the apron part doesn't sound very masterly.

Sounds better than food splattered clothes. You could of course cook naked. Except when frying bacon. That is what a friend told me anyway. I wouldn't have any personal knowledge on the subject.

Furnace is repaired ... hallejuah !

Couple that with fixing the coffee maker and it's been a banner day ... lol ...

Managed to get most of the 3PH structure for the ballast block put together and welded up earlier today ...

Will need to pick up a couple of lower lift pins from TSC before I can proceed much further on the frame.

I'll build the rebar cage for it tonight ... assuming I can get motivated enough to get up off the couch ... :laughing:

Need to make it an early night ... supposed to be nice out tomorrow ... and I don't want to waste that opportunity.
