I don't think all makes and models of tractors will be able to use one of these the simple way I was able to on my MAhindra 3016. I got the idea when I set a rake across the ROPS bolts and drove it around. It seemed ok but it could fall off easily unless I bungeeed it there.

This is what I came up with, a simple 8 inch long piece of 3/16 x 1 1/2 band iron bent in a sorta Z shape:

I loosened the bolt that keeps the ROPS upright and tight and inserted the short end of the bracket and viola !

tighten it and done, except for the other side.

I can stash my rakes, shovels, or rifle and place the bracket thu the handle of the chainsaw. I guess I could carry a chain on the other side as well if I didn't carry the rakes.

I think they will be VERY useful and oh, so simple.

Genius!!!! I especially like the chainsaw hanging from it. Gonna have to steal this idea :)

Thanks,

That's a smart idea. I'd probably put a plastic scabbard over the saw teeth just to protect myself from bumping into them.

How many watts are those LED light bars and do you find them to provide adequate light?

Stick on "camper tape" cheap foam on and it is a nice rifle rack as well!

That's where it sent me, too. So I tried posting the 'correct' link, and it still took me there!

2nd try: Headlight (pair) 18W Cree

Okay, going to the page where they sell two works...

still shows ok to me. I'll work on it.

this is the link I posted, remove the " , cut and paste. How that translates to skin care rollers, I have no idea.

yeah, the 2fer deal is a little better. I didn't see that when I ordered mine.

Simple is good! Nice job. The torque tube on your loader is also a good place to stuff shovels & rakes.

Nice job with the hooks, and the light bar link is working fine for me.

Tool holders, remarkably similar to yours, are going to appear on my ROPS - nice work.
Love the wooden snatch block, GMIslander! Looks plenty beefy. Shiver me timbers, matey!

I had a similar homemade chainsaw scabbard on my quad, but found it lost fuel tru the breather tube as I rode. Now my scabbard is mounted horizontally.

That's a great modification. It's something I am looking at as well - along with the auxiliary lights and sun shade. Is that a factory sun shade?

oldpilgrim, why didn't you install your lights at the front of your canopy on the inside,
I think they would look good there and probably give you more front lighting.
Just a thought.

I think they'd vibrate too much. I thought about it though. I agree that they would look good there.
