It's Oakwood Feed & Supply

foreman-- It all looks very good, and I wish you luck. Having your own business is very rewarding, but also a lot work & responsibility, and I know that you are not afraid of work.

The one thing, that I think a lot of us would agree on, is that a lot of businesses that are out there today have no idea of what "Customer Service" is, much less "Good Customer Service". Most of today's employees that are working have not been taught about it either, so TRAINING them is very important to your success.

The Feed Store that I frequent most always has a cup of coffee and a warm greeting as I'm coming through the door, and is more than willing to help with his knowledge and experience.

If I get down in your area I look forward to stopping by.....to BUY. Again "Good Luck".

Charlie

P.S. Don't forget "You can't sell out of an empty wagon".

Did my own personal rain dance this morning. Looked at the radar and saw everything was north and west of us, tracking north. Thought what the heck, better get on the bike now before SWMBO's training session. Sooo, got to the furthest point from home, and felt the tap, tap, tap on the helmet. Then faster, until full blown storm. Fun times. Drowned rat by the time I got home. And the trainer called and moved her training to tomorrow so the ran can pass and the footing can dry out. Fantastic. But, it was a good workout (nothing motivates the legs like trying to get home in the rain, and the rain will help the grass grow. I put out some compost on the dirt spots in the pasture to encourace the bermuda to spread, and this should help trap the moisture in those areas.

2.0 in gauge this morning and still raining. Goats huddled in barn, had to take feed up to them in RTV, they are spoiled, they waited for breakfast rather than get wet to come down to normal feeding area. HS.

I found me a puppy at the county's animal shelter. She is a 5 month olf Blue Tick Catahoula mix. She is a sweetie and is a lady, as she does not get on the furniture. Blue Bell 001.jpgBlue Bell 005.jpgBlue Bell 007.jpg

0430 this morning and the wind is really stirring the trees up. Now heavy rain & wind. We'll check for damage when the sun comes up. Looks like we have a good chance of rain all day.

I was hoping to get to Tyler today to get measured for a Tux(boy I hate those monkey suits) for youngest son's wedding next month. Proving we'll do most anything for our kids. We'll keep checking to see if there's a chance that we can make an easy and non-eventful trip to the big city.

Charlie
