After work try fit in another 3 hours trimming before dark.
Deer and turkeys doing good job keeping fallen acorns apples clean up.

The weather mentioned yesterday will just have to see how it plays out the next two weeks. None of my sources are talking this morning

44F headed for low-60's today.
TXDon the cedar bowl came out very nice.
We have had a run of nice weather lately. The leaves are still fairly green here, even the red maples are sort of on hold. Just a blush of color beginning to show overall.

55 going to 78. Had a brief shower about 4:30am, was hoping for more.
Nice job on your bowl, Don...in the middle photo it looks like a face in profile, in the left upper part.
Gym, caulking and painting on the list today, then roasting more peppers, pablano and Hatch.

Thanks all. My wife noticed that face also, I never would have seen it.
75˚ cloudy 80% chance of rain. We had a brief thunder shower in the middle of the night with .75" rain. The thirsty ground soaked it up quick.

Awoke at 5:00 to a light show and thunder. Got the horses in the barn just in time for the rain. it's been pouring down rain since 5:15 a.m., and the radar shows it's may be with us for a while. No bike ride this a.m. before heading up to Austin, but I'll take the rain. Perhaps it will knock off mid morning and I can at least get a walk in.
Our grass has turned green from the rain this week, with more expected tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. If it does dry out, I might actually have to mow for the first time in a month.
Awoke at 5:00 to a light show and thunder. Got the horses in the barn just in time for the rain. it's been pouring down rain since 5:15 a.m., and the radar shows it's may be with us for a while. No bike ride this a.m. before heading up to Austin, but I'll take the rain. Perhaps it will knock off mid morning and I can at least get a walk in.

61 this morning, forecast is for 76. Back above 80 by end of weekend. No complaints average high is still around 82.
Good to see the rain is benefiting you guys in the Lonestar state. Hope you get what you need. Seems some areas are flooding because of it.

seems to be nice weather everywhere today. 61 out this morning; the heat kicked on in the truck.
Biopsy wasn't so bad; them bending my partly fused neck was the worst part, but got er done.
Such nice people, and none of the crowds I'm used to. Everyone in the waiting room said good morning, and was
friendly. Thyroid nodule was small, one cm, and may or may not be cancerous. Next week will tell. Unlikely but in any event fixable. Onward. The hospital complex in Greenville was very impressive and 45 minutes away. My local hospital is 13 minutes away. Now I just have to stay out of them....
had to fast this morning; have such a pounding headache missing my coffee, but I'm home now and the machine just beeped, and that will improve shortly. All I have left is the decorator looking at my old couches, and then I'm going to go out and mow the front lawn on a simply gorgeous day out. A little tramadol will also improve things; only take it a few times a year, basically turboed tylenol, but it helps on those really sore days. I avoid all painkillers like the plague but sometimes its just plain dumb not to take one. Not like I'm going to get addicted to it.
