Hello TBN!

We are Skidsteersolutions.com, a family owned and passion driven company built upon the basis that there is more to compact equipment than what is conventionally offered.

Our family is very excited to have recently begun advertising our products on the TBN forums and we are even more eager to hear what you folks have to say about them. Please, do not be hesitant to ask us any questions. Providing you with an honest solution or guiding you in the best direction is what we do. Where there are issues with products or gaps in the industry, we pride ourselves in being the team you can depend on .

For those of you with Skid Steers, Mini Skid Steers or even Mini Excavators, you may be pleased to hear that we specialize in the design and production of high quality attachments and accessories. New to 2014 is our Eterra Raptor Boom Mower for Skid Steer Loaders designed for heavy duty roadside brush clearing and virtually any other mowing jobs due to its exceptional range of motion. Another product you will find and want to learn about is our CANBus Controller adapter line. Use this controller with your Bobcat machine and you will be able to use your pilot controls to operate solenoids on attachments like snow blowers and more. These CANBus magic boxes can be used on Bobcat Skid Steer Loaders, Toolcats and even VersaHandlers to adapt from their 7-Pin output to any attachment output on the market today! We have several models available, click here to view a demonstration of this groundbreaking technology and learn more about how it works.

If you want to learn more, visit us at http://www.skidsteersolutions.com/, home of the Eterra line of attachments and so much more!" As a token of our appreciation, we'd like to welcome all TBN members to enjoy 5% off of any purchase from our website for the next 14 days, just use the coupon code "TBN5OFF".

I have been looking for a strong SSQA Hitch to replace this cumbersome combination of a 3 point adapter and hitch.

P3310003.JPG P3310011.JPG P3310015.JPG P3310016.JPG

Will yours handle the 3,560 pounds on the gooseneck ball? The trailer weighs 10,480 empty and puts a lot of sideways load on the hitch when jackknifing into position.

I would bolt the hitch plate in the top position.

Hello and thanks for your questions. The hitch has a 6000 lb. rating. This is because most skid steer loaders cannot lift more than 3000 lbs. There are a few approaching 4000 lbs. now. It was intended to align with the class three specifications given to automotive. Lift wise we should be fine. Side to side should be good as well because we use a 2 to one safety factor in our designs. We move our equipment trailers around with it and they weigh up to 16,000 lbs. Usually the skid steer lets you know by tipping if something is too heavy. We designed this idea 20 years ago and have never had a complaint. From the looks of how many companies are making these, I guess we should have applied for a patent.

If you need anything else, let us know.

Got it today, Friday.

It is the strongest plate that I have seen on a hitch and the receivers are a one piece casting. Came with grade 8 bolts for the tapped mounting holes.
P9190031.JPG P9190035.JPG P9190038.JPG P9190040.JPG

Good fit at the top, a little gap at the bottom, but the latch pins have good penetration.
P9190041.JPG P9190043.JPG P9190045.JPG

Being able to see the ball from the seat is one of the reasons that I bought this hitch.
P9190049.JPG P9190051.JPG P9190050.JPG

And I can pull two trailers at the same time!

Well that turned out great and I see what you mean by that added vision  And yes, sometimes their can be a little space but you are correct by realizing that as long as your pins penetrate, then it will work flawlessly. Thank you for the excellent photos and well thought out review, we really appreciate the detail and of course those photos.

All of the Eterra products are over engineered for added reliability and resiliency. All pieces are powder coated and Eterra only use the finest components, castings and hardware. :D

If you ever need any other plates, adapters or even any sort of attachment, let us know and we will be sure to come up with a great solution at a very fair price for you!

The view from the seat, hooking up a trailer with the lower ball mount.

P9220001.JPG

Raised the boom and curled down enough to see the top of the ball.

P9220003.JPG

Moved forward until the ball was under the coupler.

The side view.

P9220005.JPG

Curled up and moved it, don't even need to latch it on to park it.

Sure like the Dual Hitch Plate.

You have my permission to use any of the photos.

Here is another view from the seat showing the ball.

Opened the door, pulled forward until the ball is under the gooseneck hitch.

Raised the boom.

3,560 pounds on the ball, note the jack plate is off of the wood.

I have used the Eterra Dual Plate Hitch many times to back the horse trailer into the barn.
