Some nice looking equipment for sure. Don't see Cat wheeled farm tractors often.

I have not been to the NC State Fair in decades. Last time I was there they did have some heritage displays like soap making and such and I do remember so old tractors being displayed.

If you want to see new equipment, you don't go to the State Fair, you go to the Farm Show in Feb that is huge. It makes more sense for the brands to go to the Farm Show vs the State Fair. More serious buyers at the Farm Show than the State Fair.

Right, the livestock barns have few people going through them and those that do are holding their noses. it is a shame. I loved growing up on a farm and it stayed with me to this day.

I recall on the school bus as a kid, when we got near a dairy operation some kids would yell how it stunk. I would stand up and yell "We finally found civilization!" I recall scrubbing my hands real good before proms so when I pinned the flower on my date my hands didn't smell like manure. I think they did but my dates were too polite to mention it. Oh those we're the days.

Our county fair is this coming weekend. I checked the list of exhibitors and not a single tractor dealer!! Its all about weird music, uneatable food and booths selling stuff you really don't need. There are still antique farm equipment, handy work and livestock. But today's fair is mainly the almighty dollar.

Went to the Wayne County fair here in Wooster Ohio today, (drove by Friday and was impressed with # of tractors on display on way by.) So today took some time and walked it and Yep there were a LOT of NEW stuff there to look at LOTS of Kubs, Deers, Cases, NH and some smaller yard stuff like Steiners and Ventracs... SO I guess the local dealers went out and drug in a good number so if you are in market to look at spending on some toys errr tools try the Wooster Ohio fair.

The fair is running thru 11th so ya got time to drive up, not all that far for ya, 71 North, to SR30, then east 20 miles there is a big ODOT sign telling you where to turn prior to driving by. (Note ya can drive by my place too lol...) Probably 15+ Kubs on display, most decked out with cabs and FELs in the size you are after. Looked at a 30hp unit and it was about 1/2 what mine weighs, woman commented how light duty the castings looked compared to import I've got now. I said probably about as strong as the better casting controls on the new Kubs vs my China tractor.

There were some BIG machine there too, & some of the commercial mowers you may be interested in?

Would love it if I had time to get up there. But too much to do.

I am hoping the knox county fair hasnt skimped. Its usually the same dealers as are at the morrow county fair. Next year I will likely go there instead.
