Be careful, Drew, not getting any younger LOL
Interesting afternoon. Stopped at PO after voting and the Postmistress, a neighbor, told wife she was without power at home and no expectation as to when it would be fixed. Her house is down from us, but we can see it. The powerline for her also goes up to the cell tower and FAA station and supplies half a dozen neighbors along the way. Shortly after getting home, another neighbor, along same power line, called to ask if we had room in our freezer as she was getting concerned about losing stuff. Well, of course we don't, seems like we put stuff in there and it reproduces LOL. But I did suggest I could bring up a small generator and power her fridge. So we loaded up the Honda 2000 and a can of gas, drove up and got the fridge operating. Of course that doesn't help with her 220 water pump, but at least her food won't spoil and she can plug in other things. Her husband was due back from mainland last night, but airline cancelled flight so rescheduled for tomorrow night.
Interesting how expensive seats can be.
