How do i get smileys in my posts?

When posting from my iPad is there a way to add smileys to my posts? I would like to add them sometimes to help convey sarcasm or humor but I can't figure it out.

In the reply thread almost in the middle on top you'll see a smiley face.

Are you using Safari or the TBN app? I use Safari and have no trouble with smiley's.

Ok I think I have those down now.

When I go to "reply to thread" there is only a box to type my reply or the "advanced" button to attach pictures.
