3-Point Hitch GC1720 3-point hitch will not raise (it is not locked)

My hoses have colored zip ties. One-red, one-blue, one yellow/blue. When connecting BH red-red, yel-yel/blue, blue-blue. When i take the BH off i connect the blue and yel/blue. If yours isnt color coded get a pack of various colored zip ties and have at it.

Recently had to replace zip ties because they were breaking

That is the way my 1635 is setup. Very handy!

Mine only has 2 hoses, and you must connect them, when removing the backhoe, to allow the oil to circulate, and prevent damage to the pump.

So, even if this doesn't fix your problem, your owners manual likely has the same stipulation.

Yes, I went through the same thing on my 2310 after I first removed the BH. Gotta hook up that return line.
