What do you think of the LiveWire, the new electric Harley prototype?

There is not much there to think about. It has a 50 mile range. What the world needs is not a good 5 cent cigar, what the world needs is a better battery. Hopefully some smart scientist's and engineers will keep on working towards that goal.

I agree with James. A 50 mile range isn't that great. Then you have to find a place to charge it back up to get back home. If they ever come up with a similar system that gets a 150-200 range it MIGHT spike some interest and I emphasize MIGHT because I for one enjoy the sound of a V-twin which is non existent on an electric bike.

I will buy the first solar car that makes sense...go at least 50 MPH and have a range of at least 100 Miles...this would be freedom of travel...off the grid and not dependent on fossil fuel...so in the worst societal situation...one would still have a means of getting around....

The problems associated with hydrocarbon fueled vehicles will lead to more innovation. Rising energy prices are taking a chunk out of everyone's budget, and the economic effects have pushed "green" technology into the mainstream. It's only a matter of time now !

Cool looking, but 50 miles range? Couldn't even make it to work and home again .
