It got tested this morning.. It tastes like sweet ripe berry's just kissed by the summer sunshine! (the wife came up with that one!)

Today was also the day to convert tomatoes into tomato sauce/all purpose sauce for making spaghetti sauce and such.

My right arm got a pretty good workout on the Roma sauce making machine. It converts tomato(or about any fruit) into sauce in one bowl and skins in the other. It does take some cranking. They make a motor drive for it, but we don't have one. Oh well the exercise probably done me good.

I never knew such a machine existed. My wife and a neighbor's wife sure could have used one of those a few years ago when they were making salsa.

You can do pumpkin, apple's to make apple butter, and of course peaches, for peach butter, pumkin puree for pumpkin pie.. Juice from berries and make hashbrowns from potatoes and on and on.

When you do tomatoes, be sure to run the "skins" bowl thru again a time or 2 to get every bit of the "meat" and Juice of them. When you do that the skins in the bowl will be kinda dry. It only takes a minute or two to run a bowl of skins back thru.

Well we have a flat spot for the travel trailer across the road right in front of the decorative rock wall! Flat spots are hard to come by around here.. gotta make them!
