Purchased one from Setaros in Feburary -GREAT GUY really talk to GUY. Have him load your tires w/ RIMGUARD before you leave you won't be disappointed.
E3A, I'm seriously looking at the 2023 as well. Haven't been to Setaro yet, hopefully some time over the next couple of weeks. If you do plan on going out-of-state, keep me in mind. Might get a break on shipping if we piggy back. Just a thought.

I'm looking for the TLB version.

Where are you guys located? I got a quote on a J2023h for $12,500 just last week here in Northern California. The 2023 is what initially caught my attention but I'm making the jump to the G series I think.

TOSA Ranch: Check out the new XR3032. It's a really nice tractor. Already has 2 pair of remotes, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, better seat than the G series, has telescoping lift arms, higher lift capacity too. I was set for a G3033H when I stumbled into the XR3032H. Not much more money, and definitely a better tractor.

Yeah windchaser, the XR is amazing and packed with features! But I originally was looking at a J and jumped up to the G. The XR is several thousand beyond that and I have to stop somewhere. Plus we only own 2 acres at the moment. Maybe if we upgrade to more acreage I can sell the G and buy an XR. I'm a cheap skate and can live with the G's loader controls and non-tilt wheel for now. It'll only make me appreciate that XR more when it's time to upgrade. :)

TOSA Ranch, I was right where you are now. I started out considering a J2023 and was hoping maybe for the J2025. Then, I started considering the G3033H with options. At that time the XR3032H wasn't out. Because of other things taking up my time, the XR3032H made it out on the market, and of course with the options I wanted/needed the XR3032H became the better choice.

I'm hoping to put mine on order later this month if all goes well.

I have almost 3 acres, but I have a pond out back and a rental auto body repair garage. So, getting the right sized tractor is a must.

I've got 6 acres and I haven't found and job that my 2023 won't do. In fact, I'm glad I didn't go up to the 3000 Series because that's way more machine and would have been difficult maneuvering around my property.

I'm in CT.

Setaro just bumped their prices, about $20,700 for the J2023 TLB.

I initially had a G-series picked out, but the G has no option for a front snow blower. With a 900' long driveway, I want one. Been using a 48" Berco blower on my JD garden tractor for the past 15 years or so. Does a good job. A 3-point blower is not an option for me. Neither is plowing.

A J2023 TLB will pretty much do what I want it to do. Some things will go slowly, but I can make it work. My other option would be a XR3037HC, but it's a bigger machine than I really need for three quarters of the things I'd use it for.

Only thing I'll need that I haven't seen yet is a winter cab for the 2023. Might fabricate my own cab.

$20,700 for a J2023?! I sure hope thats a typo...?

I was quoted at $13,800 in Maine for a 2023 and Im really hoping he'll come down to the $12s...

All Season Power Equipment in Windham Maine has soft cabs for the 2023...I believe he said around $1200 for them. I'm planning to pick up a 2023, front mount snowblower, and cab as well...1200+ foot driveway will be much easier with a front mount.

Im considering the 2023 over the 3000 series for the same reasons as you pretty much. I do believe a mid-mount PTO (therefore, front mount snowblower) can be added to the 3038 though (but not the 3033).

He was taking about a TLB version of the 2023. The backhoe attachment is an additional $5500-$6000.

The $13,800 your were quoted is also VERY high. I paid $12,200 for mine a couple months ago.

Not being a wise guy, but are you aware that there are 3pt pull type blowers? You drive forward with them...they're a fair bit less expensive than front blowers, and let you back up close to something, and drive away, which you can't do with a front blower. Some even have an option for a scrape blade to get the last couple of inches right next to garage doors, walls, etc. If this forum is any indication of reality, they are actually more popular than front blowers in places that get a lot of snow.
