Anything special about the coolant on an L3200?

I was going to change mine out and put in a 50-50 mix of Prestone Extended Life coolant. I know my Powerstroke takes a special coolant. Thought I'd better check on my L3200 before I did it.

Nothing special needed... But a diesel rated coolant is not a bad idea and should not cost much more...

Check the manual, it specifies what to use. If in doubt, buy it from your dealer. I was expecting Kubota branded AF when I got mine, it was something different, but still good stuff.

Your 7.3 powerstroke requires SCA additives because of the cylinder wall breakdown.
I don't think you need to worry about this on your tractor.

Use conventional "green" ethelyne glycol coolant-think 1975.
Can almost be a little hard to find these days with all those universal,extended life formulas out there.
A dealer or a good auto parts store will have it.
Unless your coolant is filthy and needs flushing,a drain and refill with a 50/50 mix of green and distilled water would be a great choice-just what your Kubota comes with.

Anything from Wal-Mart is fine and is what the owner's manual calls for.
