LS R4041H
Local dealer can get a 2013 R4041H if I want it. Wants $22K for it. Considering the R's are going fast is that a reasonable price. Also told me he has a R4041H he uses there at the shop and is thinking about selling it. 100hr on it. What do you think would be a reasonable offer (knowing what he paid, hrs, etc)?

Local dealer here is selling a new R3039H for 19,999. 2K more for a 4041H isn't a bad price. I'd try for the 100 hr. demo unit as long as he's willing to give you full warranty with it. 100 hrs is nothing for a tractor but he has to remember at 100 hrs it's no longer new, now it's just a low hour used demo that was never sold. He's not going to get new price so ask what he's willing to sell for then counter with a lower number. Once he's at his bottom line see if he'll throw in a free service the next time it needs one or load the rear tires as part of the deal. Is the demo a 2012 or 13 model. If you bought a new 4041H for $22K then wanted to sell it after you put 100 hours on it, what do you think you'd get.

2013, and I would expect to loose a couple grand for a year old slightly used one.... but I admit to not knowing crap about tractors and their values.

Thanks George!

I think that price is not too bad. I paid $21,400. For my LS 4041H with loaded rear tires and 2 bucket hooks welded on last October. If I were you and that is the Tractor you want, I would make a deal on either one of the 2 because the tier 3 machines will be hard to find soon.

I would also go for the demo if the price works. Offer him $19,500

Well pretty sure the deal is done and pretty happy right now. R4041H 125hrs on it . Full Warranty, new R4 tires, all new fluids and filters. Included is a Taylor Pittsburgh 5' Med. Duty BH, 6' Rototiller and loaded tires (Beet Juice). $23K out the door. I think it is a fair deal. Drove the tractor quite a bit and really liked it! It steers much easier than I thought.

Can't wait to change my profile!

Hey, if it's not too late, get a 6' bhog instead of the 5'. No reason to get the 5 footer, the 4041 will easily handle the 6 footer.

The reason I was getting the 5' is because he has had it for awhile and is taking ~700 off what he sells it for. He had a 6ft std duty there but would cost me a little more. I am a little undecided. On one hand the 5ft on is much more beefy, but the 6ft cuts a wider path. I have 5acres to mow so I am trying to decide if the getting it done faster (6ft) standard one is more important than a more rugged BH but will take a little longer to do. I will have to see how much more$$ it is.

Thanks TSO!
