My boy got a new job on the oil rigs out west and he sent me some pictures of what we would call in out area some mighty large tractors. I figured you guys might enjoy looking at them, enjoy.

My dad has had several of the big articulated JDs and Cases, but not with triples like that. We've found out that tracks work best in our area because the ground is what we cask gumbo, but it's primarily clay. Once you break the crust, the mud is blue-gray in color.

We have an articulating Case and John Deere at our Farm, they're fun tractors to run.

Yea the pictures are from North Dakota and from what I understand when it gets cold in ND it's just d--- cold period!

My neighbor just bought a Case IH Quadratrac. Nice tractor......for being RED.

Nobody row crop farms without a cab. They haven't for at least 25 years, at least not farmers with 500 acres or more.

There is some big equipment out nowadays. Tractors just a Tad larger than a two plow.

Those cabs are almost a necessity as the operator sorta lives there come planting and harvest time. Many also have guidance systems so the operator just monitors.

500 acres, heck the fields the boy was seeing were more than 500 acres just by themselves. Someday if I live long enough to retire I would just love to circle this great country and see just what there is to see out there.
