Nice! What will you do with it? Parades, hay rides, just for fun?

I have this strange urge to take the running gear from an old gravity wagon and build a Gypsy wagon on it. Good thing gravity wagons are pretty rare around here or I would have drug one home from an auction.

Just for fun and hay rides around our 10 acre place. Our first Grandchild was born in December so the wife wanted a wagon for all the kids and grand kids to go on. I stink I will get some hay bales for around the edge but also maybe some kind of safety railing too. Any ideas on the railing would be welcome. Maybe something on the sides and part of the back. I think I may add some stair steps to the back of it for easy access.

How cool is that!? I want one.

For the railing, you could make up 'L' shapes from cold rolled square stock, insert the short end of the 'L' between the floor boards at the outside edge, hold those in place with brackets screwed to the underside of the boards. That would give you the long side of the 'L' sticking up above the bed to attach horizontal railing to.

That's a great idea

Thanks

Thanks

Welcome. It's one idea, don't know how great it is. :D

It would probably need a diagonal brace at each end (front and back) since it will be difficult to really lock in the short leg of the 'L'.

I didn't know John Deere made a car. What model is that? I've never seen one before.😁

The green car in the garage? That my friend is a 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol with 237k miles on it. Still runs great.
