Tractor
Kubota L3200
Hey y'all. Just wanted to thank all the folks that offer advice and counsel on the question of "What tractor should I buy?"!

I've been looking for about a year. I wanted to just get an old Ford N series or something a little newer, with a total budget of $7,500 or so including implements.

Given my physical limitations (motor vehicle collision), I found that I would be limited to an HST equipped tractor. At the end of the day, I decided on a Kubota. My local dealer recommended a BX or a B for my intended purposes. I wrestled and wrestled with the decision, primarily because of the "bigger is better" recurring theme here on TBN. Ultimately, I purchased a new L3200.

The L3200 is a pleasure to operate thusfar, and has done everything I've asked her to do. She grades hillsides and driveways with ease. She pushes over 6" trees with little struggle. She even uproots stumps that only have a few inches sticking up out of the ground. In addition, she's small enough to work in my forested areas and in my rural/residential property as well.

I certainly don't know how I would feel had I purchased the B or the BX, but I sure do like the L.

Thank you all for the time you give to those of us who need some guidance.

Congrats! The L3200 is a very good tractor.

Glad you got a tractor that works well for you, I also have some limitations and if you have problems getting on and off, I used a modification from Waxman and added a step.

Thanks TripleR. So far, my one good leg and one good arm is enough to get me aboard. I was thinking I may need to have my son fabricate a folding step similar to yours. I figure I'll need it in the future.
