Front-End Loader Bf350-a on a Kubota b9200 question.

How and where can I find out what the weight capacity is for this loader? I have searched all over and I can't seem to find anything about it. The reason why I need that number is because I will be building or buying a ballast box and Ihave no idea how heavy it will have to be.

I really can't make a recommendation as I don't have any literature on it. My neighbor has the exact same tractor/FEL and when my wood chipper is placed on his tractor it really makes a difference in how much lighter the front end feels... Much easier to steer. On the down side it seemed to be the upper limit of how much weight one might want hanging off the rear.

He has the WSM for this tractor, so if you don't obtain this info from someone else I might be able to review this weekend.

I'll leave it up to you to research how much this chipper weighs. See below for model number.

Thanks for the information. According to some sites your Chipper is about 600 lbs which is what I think I will aim for for the ballast weight. If you do happen to get any more information this weekend please let me know as I'm not starting this project for another few weeks.

build an empty box with a angle iron frame and cement board sides and fill it with gravel to see what feels right. Also you could use it for a carry-all. just a thought.

Just FYI, Kubota loaders include the lift capacity in the model number (in Kilograms). 350 x 2.2 = 770lb lift capacity. They used to be rated at bucket mid-point, now they are rated at the pins.

So just by pure luck I found a Kubota ballast box in like new condition. There is a sticker on it that says... Add 300 lbs for be and add 500 lbs for b models. I calculated it out that with event I will need about 6 bags to get to about 500.

I know this is nearly 3 years old, but I'd like to get your opinion on how you like having the ballast box. I'm trying to convince my stubborn neighbor that it should really help out with stability and making steering easier when something is in the bucket.
