I'm considering picking up a landscape rake for my R3039H, and will likely go with one from Evertthing Attachments. I originally thought about the extreme duty model, but was wondering if I should step up to the newer "version 3". It's about 100 lbs heavier, and about $200 more. Any thoughts or experiece with either of these models?

I pull an ETA Version 2, 84" Landscape Rake behind my L3560 and before that B3300SU. A fine implement. The tines have perfect combination of resistance and spring. Angle is very easily adjusted.

I have been less enamored with ETA's imported gauge wheels for same, which do not castor to my expectation and gauge wheel axles seem to collect trash to inordinate degree.

A few months ago I had decided the ver3 was what I would get if I were to purchase one. I have not pulled the trigger yet.

Have you check out York rakes?

Same here...I have a cheapo 6' landscape rake I picked up for $150, and it's better than nothing, but I see an EA Ver3 in my future.

Have't really looked at a york rake. Appears to be basically a landscape rake with rippers.?.

I have a 72" King Kutter rake that I use. Does a great job (for the price ) and I've been pleased with it. Grooms a gravel driveway nicely, even tho it's light. Also cleans up branches & leaves well. I'd like to pick up an 8 footer, but not looking to spend that kind of money anytime soon. IIRC, I picked it up new, on sale, for $350.

I'm going to stay at 6', as I have quite a few trees that I'll need to get between. More than likey I'll end up with the EA extreme duty ver. 2. ($ 648). The newer version is about 100 lbs heavier and $ 200 more.
