j2023h size comparison

I haven't been able to get eyes on this tractor yet, could someone who has fill me in? How to the size compare to the Kubota lineup I'm thinking bigger than a BX and right about the size of the Kubota B2320. Is that accurate..I see weight is similar with an edge to the LS but can't make heads nor tails of the tire size and ground clearance etc.

I went and looked at a New Holland Boomer 20 (brother from another mother of the LS J2020) and a Kubota B2320 last week. They are pretty comparable in size. The LS is definitely bigger than a Kubota BX.

If I heard correctly, the J2023 isn't available yet - but the dealer I talked to made it sound like it will have a few improvements over the J2020.

I talked to a local dealer that said he could order one for me but the price was so close to the b2320 that I think I'd be inclined to go that direction for the three speed hst and resale value if I ever needed to sell.

I like them both, but bought the Kubota B2620 because of the dealer. The new J2023h now has twin hydro pedals and that is nice. Not to mention 5 year powertrain warranty. Both good tractors.

The 2023 is out there. I did a test drive with one about a month or so ago. They are noticeably bigger than other SCUTs of different brands. The twin hydro pedals are a huge improvement. Also the hydro pump on the 2023 is much bigger than other SCUTs. AND...the 2023 loader has a lot more lift capacity. I'm saving my money for one right now.

Good to hear - the dealer I spoke to said they wouldn't be available until all of the 2020's are gone, which seemed a little strange to me. Were the twin hyrdo pedals located side by side like on a JD? I like that setup. May be worth waiting for.

I also read some threads that had people saying they were getting this machine for between $12,000 - $12,500. Seems like a great value.

The LS 2023 is available I have owned 1 for 2 weeks. LS made some very big improvements on this machine. This little BIG machine is very impressive. The specs on this tractor out rate other tractors in the 29 hp range. As far as comparing to the BX series not really much to compare the LS 2023 is in a different catogory.

Best quote I've gotten was $12,200 and that was the cheapest by at least $500 from other dealers. I've priced them probably a half dozen dealers in my area.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious why that dealer told me they weren't available yet. Maybe he was trying to get all of the 2020's off his lot first.

The first dealer I've spoken with quoted the j2023h, loader, mmm, 4 ft box blade, and 6 ft rear blade at around $18,100, he didn't itemize so I don't know the details on each piece but this seemed high to me considering I have a Kubota B2320 essentially apples to apples quote for about $600 more. I haven't negotiated with either dealer yet.

Any thoughts on this? My head is swimming

Buy just the tractor & FEL, and shop around for implements later.

Is that with the FEL? I see a couple of dealers advertising on CL in the $13,500 range.

Yes, $12,200 including a loader. Magee Equipment in Poplar Bluff MO. Your prices seem overly high. The biggest quote I had was $12,900 with a loader.

Several other members here have found their tractors at Magee Equipment and found they are the cheapest. I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just try to find the best deals for my money.

No problem. I'm price shopping too. I do a TON of research. So far, it seems the J2023 is the best bang for your buck. Size-wise, it's bigger and heavier than any SCUT. It's more like a small CUT size. Bigger hydro pump, more loader lift capacity, better warranty than anyone else, and it's less expensive.

The Kioti CK20 is a very close contender in terms of size to the J2023. The Kioti has a smaller hydro pump, less lift capacity on the loader, still uses a treadle pedal instead of dual pedals, one year less warranty, and price is $1800 more at $14k.
